What a Great Week!

April 24, -- i have to say, hearing all of the feedback and positive comments about the new website, and even the friends from back home who've called or email to say that i have put them in tears ( i think they are the ones who really know what a true passion photography is for me) has really been good for the soul this week! it makes it so rewarding and so reassuring to hear "YES, you can do this!" i've always been one who needs that pat on the back to know that i've done a "good job," so this has been a fantastic week and one filled with confidence. I am so eager, now more than ever, to get out there and start shooting! my two were great little models for me yesterday -- they see it as a dress up moment to play like princesses so i really dont' have to twist any arms to get them in front of the camera - ok, so i do offer a few bribes here and there. these little smiles, - i wish i could just box them up and save them forever.

My "Other" Child

It's finally the BIG day - the website reveal - I honestly have felt like I was awaiting the birth of another child -- not to minimize the birth of my two beautiful girls of course -- but I have been so anxious to get this out here and to see my work and my friend, Sharon's work (the one who created the awesome website!) It makes me smile to see my last few years of work compiled together to my favorite three songs that have so much emotional meaning to me - it's just a great day! thanks sharon!!
